If Garfield’s most recent Facebook post from a year ago is anything to go by, he is still currently enjoying retired life at home.
It has been more than ten years since the last episodes of Parking Wars aired for the first time and many of the show’s old cast members, including the fan-favorite Garfield, have since retired.
Where is Garfield from Parking Wars today?
A&E’s Parking Wars certainly has no shortage of interesting personalities. But Garfield, one of the show’s more well-known “booters,” managed to stand out and become a fan-favorite on the show.
Steven “Steve” Garfield and his partner, Sherry Royal, worked in tandem on the show to track down and “boot” as many violating vehicles as they could find.
Unfortunately though, Garfield and Sherry’s friendship was simply not entertaining enough to keep Parking Wars on the air and the show was cancelled in 2012, just seven seasons in.
Garfield retired from the Philadelphia Parking Authority (PPA) just a few years later, in 2015, and as of a year ago, he was still happily enjoying his retired life.
What has Garfield been up to since he retired?
Unlike many other reality television stars, the cast of Parking Wars tends to keep the details of their personal lives private.
Garfield was one of the only ex-cast members, who regularly interacted with fans on his Facebook page, but it seems like as he has gotten older, his updates have also become less frequent.
Garfield’s most recent Facebook update was posted more than a year ago on February 22, 2022. But it did rouse an outpouring of love from loyal Parking Wars fans, who likely still watch reruns of the show today.
What happened to Sherry?
Sherry was one of the only Parking Wars cast members who was even more popular than Garfield when the show first started airing.
Within their partnership, Garfield was usually in charge of putting the boots on the cars, while Sherry was in charge of ensuring that all of their paperwork was in order.
Sherry left the PPA shortly after Garfield did in February 2016, and according to this unverified LinkedIn profile, she started working as a bus driver for Driver Bus Lines just a few years later in 2018.
Will there ever be a Parking Wars reunion?
Garfield and Sherry were not the only notable partnership on Parking Wars, and they are certainly also not the only cast members that fans have been wondering about since the show was cancelled.
Unfortunately, it has now been more than a decade since the last episode of the show aired in 2012, and with no new news or updates from the higher-ups, it seems unlikely that a reunion will happen.
