What Shag did before Iron Resurrection
If you have tuned in to watch any episode of Iron Resurrection that has aired in the last eight years, you will likely already know that Shag’s marketing and sales skills are not just simply for show.
In fact, before Shag became the big Iron Resurrection reality television show that we all know and love today, he was actually employed in the Marketing sector full time.
According to Shag’s LinkedIn page, he has worked as a marketer for companies like Red Bull, Astro Red Industries, Neurobrands and NCompass International before signing on to do Iron Resurrection, and he apparently has quite the knack for developing unforgettable guerilla marketing and grassroots campaigns. No wonder he is so good at negotiating.
Where Shag got his love for all things automobiles
Just because Shag may not always be directly involved in the actual fabrication of the impressive cars that we see come out of the Martin Bros. Customs shop on Iron Resurrection – it does not mean that he does not get under the hood in his free time.
It turns out that Shag is a life-long gearhead. The Iron Resurrection co-host recently took to Instagram to share an old throwback Polaroid photo to celebrate all of the hard work that he and his father would do on their cars “on any given Saturday growing up”.
And judging from the ’78 CJ-7 and the ’86 Firebird pictured in this sweet snapshot, it seems like good automotive taste runs in Shag’s family.
A few things you might not know about Shag Arrington
Now that Iron Resurrection has been on the air for seven seasons, it almost seems as if we know everything there is to know about the show’s cast members (especially Shag, who has been on the show since its very beginning back in 2016.
However, Shag is a busy person and there are a few things about this marketer-turned-television-star that even the most devoted Iron Resurrection fans may still not know.
For a start, you may not know that Iron Resurrection and Martin Bros. Customs are not the only businesses that Shag is involved in.
And when he is not busy filming for new episodes of the show, he is usually busy running his Austin-based e-bike and walking tour business called YourBikerGang.com.
But one fact about this fan-favorite Iron Resurrection cast member which is bound to shock even the biggest Iron Resurrection fans is the fact that he is an ordained minister, who can (and has) legally officiate(d) weddings.
