It has been a long wait, but Iron Resurrection has officially returned to television for the show’s seventh season.
Iron Resurrection is one of the most popular car restoration programs on television and it follows Joe Martin and his team of experts at the Martin Brothers Customs garage in Texas.
They work together to repair and replace just about any seemingly lost-cause vehicles which come their way.
So far, the Iron Resurrection team has tackled everything ranging from a water-logged 1973 Pontiac Firebird to a once-in-a-lifetime ’70 Chevelle and the final few episodes of season six even saw the team overhaul an iconic 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air.
But there is just one problem – this sixth season of Iron Resurrection, ended all the way back in November of 2022.
And though fans of all-things-MotorTrend are pretty used to waiting for updates about their favorite shows by now, the future of Iron Resurrection was starting to seem pretty shaky by the middle of 2023.
Fortunately though, it seems as though Iron Resurrection has lived up to its name in more ways than one recently. The show has now officially returned to television for a brand-new seventh season.
The long-awaited Iron Resurrection season seven officially premiered on January 16, 2024, and based on the details that we have about what lies ahead for this much-anticipated season, it seems as though the team has returned with lots of new energy and several unexpected and out-of-the-box new builds.
Long-time Iron Resurrection fans have been waiting for the premiere of season seven for quite some time. And now that the first episode has officially premiered, we have a few updates about the season in general.
Some of the most important details regarding this exciting new season can be summarized as follows:

Season premiere | January 16, 2024 |

When Amanda took to Instagram in November of 2023, to confirm that Iron Resurrection was indeed returning for a seventh season, she also announced that the show had brought a brand-new sponsorship onboard.
Most fans will be fairly used to seeing different kinds of tool-, wheel- and even parts-sponsors on car restoration programs by now. But American Badass Whiskey (Iron Resurrection’s new sponsor) specializes in what they call “Garage Oil” spirits.
As it turns out, America Badass Whiskey’s car-themed branding is not the only thing that connects it to Iron Resurrection.
Season seven will also showcase the build of a very special American Badass Whiskey Van which the company has been proudly showing off on its Instagram page since last year.
The Iron Resurrection cast has changed slightly in the last few years, but it seems like most of our fan-favorite cast members have returned for the show’s seventh season.
This includes the show’s main three: Joe Martin (the Owner of Martin Brothers Customs), his wife, Amanda Martin (who is also the Co-owner of Martin Brothers Customs) and Jayson ‘Shag’ Arrington (Martin Brothers Customs Sales and Marketing Manager).
Some of the most recent posts on the Martin Brother Customs Instagram page have also confirmed that other cast members, such as Pompa (the Martin Brother Customs Shop Assistant) and Mike Zabonik (the Martin Brother Customs Expert Welder and Builder), are still heavily involved in the garage’s projects.
This means that fans can certainly expect to see them appear throughout season seven.
Each new season of Iron Resurrection promises to bring even more impressive builds from the minds of the oh-so creative Martin Brother Customs shop, and season seven is no exception to this rule.
If the teaser trailer for Iron Resurrection season seven is anything to go on, fans can expect to see not only the impressive American Badass Whiskey van build (which will reportedly stretch over three episodes later on in the season), but also ’60s Impala builds, a 1970s ice-cream truck build and even a Trans Am build throughout this entertaining season.
And since it is Iron Resurrection, we can all but guarantee that there will be some good- shop-wide shenanigans thrown in throughout all of the technical stuff – just for good measure.
Long-time Shag fans may also be in for a treat during this season, as it seems like we just might see a Scooby-Doo-inspired “Shag Van” at some point in the future.
