Arianna has quickly become one of Booked: First Day In’s most compelling characters, but her crimes were much more serious than she let on.
A 2019, a report by Vera uncovered that there are more than 10 million arrests made annually in the United States.
And while it seems like the volume of arrests is trending down, this still amounts to about one arrest every three seconds.
A&E’s docuseries, Booked: First Day In, gives audiences a behind-the-scenes look as to what it is like for arrested individuals to make their way through America’s booking process.
And in the process, audiences get to see exactly what it is like after some of the country’s most bizarre and unusual arrests are made, from the points of view of both the arrested parties and the officers who brought them into the station.
A recap of the “Bonnie & Clyde” episode
Booked: First Day In has followed a variety of arrestees throughout the course of the last two years, but few have been as enticing as the arrest of Arianna, the 21 year-old woman who was arrested during the show’s “Bonnie & Clyde” episode.
This episode follows Arianna as she is booked in following what she calls a “fight.”
However, as the episode progresses, it quickly becomes evident that what Arianna deemed nothing more than a physical altercation, was actually a violent incident that later resulted in one person getting stabbed and her boyfriend (who she later calls to bail her out) fleeing the scene.
But the excitement does not end there, as this episode also profiles an aspiring rapper, who rather than panicking about his arrest, believes that his mugshot will help with his cool-guy public persona.

What Arianna was charged with
Part of the reason why Arianna’s Booked: First Day In story is so compelling is because there is such a disparity between her version of events and that of the arresting officers.
According to Arianna, she got into an altercation with her co-worker because of a misunderstanding about their tips.
However, from what the arresting officers could deduce, the fight was caused by some misplaced romantic feelings and ultimately ended with Arianna’s boyfriend stabbing one of her co-workers (after which Arianna acted as the getaway driver to help him to evade his arrest).
At the end of the day, Arianna ended up facing some pretty serious charges, which included Felony Conspiracy to Commit Crime, Felony Accessory After the Fact and Misdemeanor Battery.
The sentence that Arianna is up against
In case you missed it, Arianna reportedly ended up being arrested again after she was bailed out for two additional felony charges.
Unfortunately, the Booked: First Day In cameras stop following arrestees after they have been booked and released.
But based on what we know about what happened to Arianna after this arrest, she likely did end up facing even more prison time than the maximum 12-year sentence that was looming over her after this initial arrest.
And since they ended up tracking down her boyfriend, Paul, it is likely that Arianna has had more to worry about than just her own legal troubles, since this 2023 arrest.
What is next for Booked: First Day In?
