Former Expedition Bigfoot star, Ronny LeBlanc, asked his fans on Facebook to help him determine his next adventure.

On Thursday, August 29, 2024, Ronny LeBlanc took to Facebook and sought answers from his more than 13,000 followers. He hoped that fans would help him decide on his next project following his departure from Expedition Bigfoot.

Le Blanc wrote: “Sometimes – I just can’t decide…If I were to decide to join a new show since I left #ExpeditionBigfoot…what should I focus on? Bigfoot? UFOs? Cryptids? Or should I just focus on selling reverse mortgages?

The possible answers, already provided by LeBlanc, came in the form of a poll, and fans could respond by checking one of the following four options:

  1. Bigfoot/Sasquatch
  2. UFOs
  3. Other Cryptids around the World
  4. All of the Above

Surprisingly, the last option “All of the Above” was the most favored answer by fans, who marginally voted it ahead at 40%.

The second most popular option was “Bigfoot/Sasquatch”, which stood at 38%. The less popular options were “Other Cryptids around the World” at 14% and “UFOs” at 8%.

The general sentiment, not just from the poll, but also the more than 170 comments by fans was that LeBlanc should focus on all the aforementioned interests or projects. But with an overwhelming focus on Bigfoot/Sasquatch research.

Which is unsurprising, LeBlanc has done most of his work around Bigfoot/Sasquatch research. And while he does dabble with the cognate fields of UFOs and Cryptids, his home base has always been Bigfoot research.

And besides, much of the fans and fandom he has garnered the over years has been from his longtime presence on Expedition Bigfoot.

So, it is only natural for his fans to want LeBlanc do more of the same work, albeit with an occasional focus on other interrelated interests.

Also, there are so few good Bigfoot shows left on TV. The seemingly inevitable demise of Expedition Bigfoot following LeBlanc’s exit, means that fans are pushing for things along the lines of what LeBlanc previously did, especially Bigfoot research.

Without sugarcoating things, complaints are already piling up about Season 5 of Expedition Bigfoot following LeBlanc’s departure. His absence is clearly visible. And the show’s lack of chemistry, authenticity, plot consistency, etc. is obvious to everyone.

So, it is expected that fans want LeBlanc to focus on projects, possibly a reality TV show, that also develops Bigfoot research to include something more expansive and interconnected.

As opposed to the parochialism currently on display in the 5th season of Expedition Bigfoot.

The poll remains open.

Even though LeBlanc has already responded that “So far ALL the ABOVE is taking the lead”, fans can still theoretically vote for their preferred next project for LeBlanc.

Whether or not it moves the needle, especially after the more than 1630 votes, is another question.
