When Koshiea is not starring on Ready to Love, she makes a living as a realtor and machine learning program manager.
Season nine of OWN’s hit show, Ready to Love, is already well underway.
This time around, the Ready to Love host, Thomas Miles (better known as Nephew Tommy) has taken the show on the road to Fort Worth, Texas, where a group of 20 hopeful 30-something and 40-something singles, have mixed, mingled, flirted and competed in the hopes of finding true love.
Ready to Love’s famous “get ready for love or get booted” approach has always ensured that the show is oh-so entertaining to watch. But there is no denying that season nine has taken things to a whole new level.
Between one contestant failing to show up on the very first day, the variety of opinions and the surprise revelations that we have seen so far, it has been nearly impossible to focus on any of this season’s cast members for too long.
All the behind-the-scenes details about Koshiea
However, now that the season has progressed beyond the initial awkward stages, it is high time that we focus on some of Ready to Love’s newest rising stars.
One of the season nine women who has already made waves (for good and bad reasons) is 36 year-old Koshiea.
But when Koshiea is not busy turning heads and stealing hearts in front of the camera for Ready to Love, she has quite a busy lifestyle, not only taking care of her two children, but also balancing her busy work schedule.
Koshiea has experience working in the real-estate industry as a realtor, and in the machine-learning industry, where she has been employed as a program manager.
Ready to Love season 9
Ready to Love’s ninth season has certainly started with a bang, but although it might feel like things are only just starting to heat up, the show has already aired three episodes, as follows:
Episode | Title | Initial air date |
Episode 1 | “Hot and Bothered” | January 12, 2024 |
Episode 2 | “The Good, Bad and Freaky” | January 19, 2024 |
Episode 3 | “Finger Lickin’ Good” | January 26, 2024 |
Koshiea’s Ready to Love run so far
While some of season nine’s contestants were hoping that the episode one no-show would be enough to save them from elimination, Miles had other plans. So far, we have seen three contestants leave the show for good.
And, while Koshiea had a fairly good start (mostly because the women were not up for elimination in the first episode), she has now had her first taste of what it is like to land in the bottom two.
Koshiea’s rollercoaster season nine run, can be outlined as follows:
Episode | Status |
Episode 1 | Not up for elimination |
Episode 2 | Not up for elimination |
Episode 3 | Bottom two |
How far will Koshiea go?
If you tuned in to watch episode three of Ready to Love season nine (or if you follow the show on any social media platforms), you will know that Koshiea’s 20-questions-type date with Alonzo did not go too well.
But, while we will not get into too much into detail about who was right or wrong in this particular situation – the men’s discussion with Tommy did bring up one very key detail that could prevent Koshiea from progressing further in this competition.
The reality is, that while some of the women, particularly Patricia, has had quite a few successful dates and has been able to form a meaningful connection with many of the men this season, Koshiea has not really connected with anyone on a deeper level.
And, while there is certainly still time for her to bond with someone, this could really hurt her when the men have to choose who to nominate for the next elimination.
What to expect from Ready to Love’s next episode
Koshiea and Alonzo’s date may have been the messiest argument that we have seen so far on this season of Ready to Love, but if the preview of the next episode is anything to go by – this season is about to get much messier.
From the sneak peek that was posted to the OWN social media pages, it seems like episode four will see the lovely season nine ladies turn on each other.
We already know from previous seasons that the discussions with Tommy tend to become more heated as more people get eliminated.
But it seems like a particularly divisive discussion between Koshiea and Alexis may just escalate things to a whole new level.
And given these rising tempers, we think that it is fairly safe to say that this season’s competition is officially on.
