The Station has opened its second branch in South Africa, located in Parkhurst, which is an affluent area well-known for its vibrant nightlife and social scene.
The Station Parkhurst has opened, according to an Instagram post from Thursday, 12 November 2020. The post welcomed customers to the new location, with the first South African branch being based on Bree Street in Cape Town. The London-inspired restaurant franchise provides a sophisticated twist on traditional British cuisine.
The Station Parkhurst stated, “The House of London is proud to introduce to Parkhurst’s 4th Avenue, The Station Parkhurst. The Station departed from London in 2016 on the southern line to South Africa, its first stop was Cape Town Platform Bree Street, and we are now finally set to depart on the northern line for Johannesburg, first stop – platform 4th Avenue Parkhurst.”
The franchise is known as a popular meeting place for coffee dates or business meetings, and is also suitable for dinner and drink tastings. The Station is also noted as an award-winning gin bar, offering 150 different kinds of gins to customers.
