Our predictions for Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch season 4

Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch has not yet officially been renewed, but we do have a few guesses about what might happen if the show does return.

Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch season three saw Duane Ollinger, Chad Ollinger and the rest of the team push their treasure-hunting prowess, their expensive equipment, and our understanding of time and space to its absolute limits in a bid to investigate some of the ranch’s most puzzling mysteries.

But of course, in true Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch fashion; this season was cut short. This was just before the team could crawl into the all-important cave system which spans out beneath the property’s surface.

There has been no official word on Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch’s renewal

The bad news is that Discovery has still not officially renewed Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch for a fourth season.

And judging by the way that the Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch team has been talking about the future of the show – it seems like no one is quite sure whether the show will be returning at all.

But on the brighter side of things, the show has also still not officially been cancelled.

Therefore, there is absolutely nothing stopping us from speculating about what could be waiting around the corner if the Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch does return at some point in the future.

When will Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch season 4 start airing?

Duane, Chad and the rest of the team usually vacate Blind Frog Ranch once the filming for a season has wrapped in order to avoid the harsh and unpredictable Utah winters.

As a result, the show has followed quite a strict airing schedule up until this point.

If everything goes as planned and Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch is brought back for another season,  that fans can expect to see brand-new episodes airing as soon as November 2024 (January 2025 at the latest).

Where Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch season 3 left off

There is only one thing worse than a season of a show being cut short unexpectedly, and that is when a season of a show ends on a massive cliffhanger.

And unfortunately, this is exactly what happened with Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch season three.

After the team spent most of season three’s last episode attempting to save Duane and his slowly sinking excavator from a muddy puddle, the show only showed a few glimpses of a breakthrough that we have been waiting years for – a dry entrance to the cave system.

But as luck would have it, this season ended before the team could explore the caves for any traces of Aztec gold, iridium, or any other valuable insights.

Which of the cast members will return for season 4?

Since Duane has already started mentioning season four in his recent Instagram posts, it seems safe to assume that this majority-owner will sign on to return for another season.

And since Duane will probably be continuing the big Blind Frog Ranch mission, Duane (the other half of the dynamic Blind Frog Ranch father-son-duo), will likely not be too far behind.

There is also a good chance that the Blind Frog ranch head of security, Charlie, will return, especially with all of the new claim-jumping activity that the Ollingers have had to deal with in season three.

And as far as the show’s catalogue of experts is concerned, we would venture that fan-favorites like Ryan Skinner, James Keenan, and even Stephen Leeah, will probably appear at some point if the series does return for another season.

What to expect from Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch season 4’s plot

We cannot discuss our hopes and wishes for season four of Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch without immediately jumping into all of the excitement that could be waiting within the caves.

While it will likely still be a while before we get to join in on all the cave-system excitement, the Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch team have given away a few clues about what they have been working on behind the scenes.

According to the official Blind Frog Ranch Outpost & Tours Facebook page, James has recently travelled to Spain, which may indicate a connection to Spanish gold.

Duane has also shared this rather cryptic image of “BFR targets”, which seems to suggest that there is a very large treasure-finding plan at foot.
