Old Town Italy in Melrose Arch has announced that it will be hosting a New Year’s Eve party, with a three-course meal and live entertainment set to form part of the festivities.
Old Town Italy shared an Instagram post on Monday, 7 December 2020, announcing that the Melrose Arch branch will be amongst its restaurants hosting New Year’s Eve parties. The Italian franchise stated, “We are hosting an evening touched with elegance, live entertainment and a divine menu. This year is worth celebrating in a true refined Old Town Italy style.”
The event comes at a cost of R495 per person, with the restaurant offering a three-course dinner, a welcome drink and a festive performance from its live band.
The menu for the evening offers a choice of Selezione of Cheese and Cured Meats, Bruschetta di Pomodoro, Prosciutto, Marinated Bell Peppers or Drunken Pecorino with Preserves for starters.
For mains, guests can choose from Crema Risotto Genovese, Roast Leg of Lamb or Chicken Assaggi, and for dessert, they have a choice between Olive and Orange Cake with Grapefruit Sorbet or Amarena Gelato and Almond Biscotti Shard.
