Ocean Basket Kyalami Corner will be hosting a Greek-themed evening this month, where patrons will be able to enjoy Greek traditions and activities, such as plate-smashing.
Ocean Basket Kyalami Corner’s Greek-themed evening will be taking place on Saturday, 28 November 2020. According to an Instagram post by Kyalami Corner on Wednesday, 18 November 2020, the restaurant stated that the evening will include Greek music and Greek traditions that will be one of the highlights of the night. This involves guests joining together for the plate-smashing tradition, which is a Greek custom involving the smashing of plates or glasses during celebrations.
Ocean Basket has informed customers that whilst partaking in the festivities, they are expected to wear their face masks in order to adhere to COVID-19 protocol. Customers are also encouraged to make a booking in advance, as spaces have been limited due to the Alert Level 1 regulations. Ocean Basket is a popular South African seafood restaurant franchise which offers a variety of seafood dishes, including sushi.
