MissFit Boxing Fourways gains popularity as a leading female gym in the area

MissFit Boxing Fourways is a branch that forms part of the umbrella franchise, which has other gyms in Gauteng that offer high-intensity boxing classes for women.

MissFit Boxing is a boutique gym located at the Pineslopes Office Park in Fourways, which offers exclusive training for women who are looking to build strength and keep fit. The gym has gained significant popularity post-lockdown, with fitness enthusiasts wanting a safer place to train without attending highly populated facilities.

The gym is led by three female trainers, and athletes are able to attend 50-minute classes that focus on building strength and fitness. With boxing being the central form of training, MissFit Boxing also promotes self-defence and body-positive affirmations, which are appreciated by participants.

MissFit Boxing Fourways’ aesthetic is captivating, with its mixture of femininity and power. Located in the centre of the gym is a boxing ring, which is highlighted by a glass chandelier that hangs above it. The centre’s pink and black theme is also seen in the lighting and is further emphasised in the affirmations displayed throughout the facility.

Trainees believe that the popularity of the gym has grown due to the desires of women in South Africa, who feel empowered by female-only establishments that encourage independent strength. MissFit Boxing has branches located throughout northern Johannesburg, including Parkhurst, Northcliff and Illovo.
