Melrose Arch has lit up the streets of the precinct with Christmas lights, whilst also preparing for its annual December Christmas market, Destination Christmas.
Melrose Arch’s Destination Christmas lights set the tone for the festive season
Melrose Arch has become known for its lavish lights and Christmas decorations every year that light up Johannesburg, which have already been put up throughout the precinct. The Christmas lights were turned on on Friday, 6 November 2020, and are expected to remain in place until Sunday, 10 January 2021. The lights have been set up all along the roads and on some of the streets which host the most popular restaurants.
Continuing with the festivities, Melrose Arch will also be hosting the annual Christmas market, Destination Christmas. The market will be held on Melrose Boulevard between Wednesday, 2 December and Saturday, 5 December 2020, from 15:00 to 21:00. In an Instagram post on Tuesday, 3 November 2020, Melrose Arch stated, “Looking for an unusual gift or something to brighten your home this festive season? Look no further than the Melrose Arch’s Christmas market.”
