Melrose Arch introduces contactless payment system, Scan-To-Park

Melrose Arch has launched its new no-touch payment system, Scan-To-Park, in partnership with Nedbank and Mastercard, which allows customers to pay for their parking tickets using their phones.

Melrose Arch has taken into consideration customers who do not want to touch the parking stations, and has introduced a new no-touch payment system. In an Instagram post today, 23 November 2020, Melrose Arch informed customers of its partnership with Nedbank and Mastercard, which now allows them to pay for their tickets using their phones. Customers can now avoid touching public facilities by using the app upon entry and exit.

The post stated, “Scan-To-Park allows anyone with a Masterpass-enabled QR code scanning banking app, or digital wallet, to scan their parking ticket and make an instant payment – without ever having to handle cash or physically touch a parking pay station.”

Scan-To-Park is supported by Nedbank, FNB, Standard Bank, Capitec and VodaPay apps, making the majority of Melrose Arch customers eligible to use the new no-touch system.
