Mall of Africa has announced that it will be hosting an art exhibition at the Crystal Court, showcasing pieces from renowned artist, Riaan van Zyl.
Mall of Africa took to Instagram on Sunday, 15 November 2020, to announce its latest exhibition, which celebrates the work of well-known artist, Riaan van Zyl. Located at shop number 2003 next to Mad Nomad in the Crystal Court, the exhibition launched on Sunday, 15 November 2020, and will close on Monday, 23 November 2020. Guest will also be offered a glass of Brut from Le’vante Garde to sip on whilst browsing through the pieces, and will also be able to enjoy the music of local musician, Che Cherry.
Riaan van Zyl is described as a contemporary conceptual artist who, according to his website, draws inspiration from common places and ordinary ideas. His artwork showcases his impression and apprehension of the things around him that he takes notice of, which effectively gives context to things the common viewer may not be able to see.
