Mall of Africa has announced that it has extended its trading hours up until January 2021, giving customers the chance to complete their shopping in time for Christmas.
Mall of Africa shared an Instagram post on Thursday, 10 December 2020, informing customers that it has extended its trading hours from today, 11 December 2020, until Friday, 1 January 2020.
All stores will be open from 08:00 until 21:00 from Mondays to Sundays, with stores closing at 22:00 the week before Christmas. Christmas Eve will see the mall closing at 18:00, and on Christmas Day, selected stores will be open for trade.
Post-Christmas, the mall will be opening at 09:00 or 10:00, and will be closing at 20:00. On New Year’s Eve, the stores will close at 18:00, and on New Year’s Day, the mall will open at 10:00 and close at 14:00.
Mall of Africa has attempted to accommodate late night shoppers by giving them ample time to shop for gifts, without the mall getting overcrowded.
