Kauai has listened to the appeals from its Midrand-based customers, and has opened up a new sit-down branch at Mall of Africa.
Kauai will be supplying Mall of Africa customers with a healthy alternative, following the launch of its new branch on Thursday, 5 November 2020. The new store is much larger than those in the other locations, which are often situated inside Virgin Active gyms, and offers a sit-down option for customers who would like to have a meal or smoothie at the store.
The Instagram post sharing the announcement showed the staff members smiling happily outside the new restaurant, ultimately giving the public a slight glimpse into the new branch. The post was captioned, “Hello Mall of Africa! A brand new and very beautiful store is waiting to welcome you. Come have something normal.”
The caption referenced the brand’s “Don’t go back to abnormal” campaign, which encourages people to wear face masks in public. The new store has made sure to comply with the initiative, and will be enforcing face masks, sanitizers and social distancing upon entry.
