Jackson’s Real Food Market postpones Sober Cobra event

Jackson’s Real Food Market has announced that the highly anticipated Sober Cobra event has been postponed, however, it has yet to announce a new date.

Jackson’s Real Food Market was set to host the Sober Cobra event at the Kyalami Corner-based restaurant on Saturday, 5 December 2020, however, it has now been postponed indefinitely. In an Instagram post on Monday, 23 November 2020, Kyalami Corner provided additional information about the event, to which Jackson’s Real Food Market commented, “This has been postponed.”

Sober Cobra has been described as the first clean-living, sober-thinking event that was expected to take place at Jackson’s Real Food Market. A performance list of South African DJs was scheduled to provide live entertainment whilst attendees enjoyed a variety of free food.

As the event seeks to promote sober living, the only beverages that will be on offer are non-alcoholic beers, wines, sparkling wine and cocktails. The event organisers are yet to advise on the refund procedure, if any, for those who have already purchased their tickets.
