Fitness model and accountant, Ashley Lisa, was featured as the bachelorette on the fake Brooke of Love dating show on the season nine finale of Impractical Jokers.

The main reason why people still tune in to watch Impractical Jokers after all these years is because the show is genuinely funny.

This is especially true for episodes like the season nine finale, in which Brooke Shields hosts a dating show with the unsuspecting Ashley Lisa, and it is clear that the prank worked out perfectly to deliver the funniest possible ending.

Why do people still watch Impractical Jokers?

Impractical Jokers has been incredibly popular from the beginning, garnering about 1.5 million viewers in its first episode, which premiered over a decade ago on 15 December 2011.

This popularity has  grown over the years and the show has just ended its ninth season in 2022, and it still reaches well over 1.2 million total viewers per week.

Fans of the show have always said that even though the show never tries to be particularly flashy or clever, it is simply incredibly funny to watch.

To add to this, viewers also enjoy the fact that they can simply sit back to watch the comedic styling of The Tenderloins, also known as James “Murr” Murray, Brian “Q” Quinn, Sal Vulcano, and Joe Gatto (who recently left the show).

Impractical Jokers: Ashley Lisa

The final episode of this most recent ninth episode of Impractical Jokers aired on 4 August 2022 and it featured Brooke Shields as the special guest.

However, even though Brooke stole the show and held her own during the phony fashion show where the two teams had to pitch their horrible ideas for children’s clothing lines to a panel of real parents and the fake dating show that she was hosting on the show, the person who really caught the attention of many viewers watching this episode was the unsuspecting Ashley Lisa, who was interviewing the men on this fabricated dating show.

In real life, Ashley Lisa is a WBFF (World Beauty Fitness and Fashion Pro). She is also a fitness model on Instagram, who spends most of her time as the head coach at the online Allure Training fitness training platform, and in her job as a Senior Accountant.

Ashley is featured as the star of the pretend dating show “Brooke of Love” and although she is unaware that Sal, Murr, and Q are giving horrible answers to her questions on purpose and she is even rejected in the end on what she believes is live television, she stays graceful and sweet throughout it all.

How exactly did the Brooke of Love prank work?

In the final prank of this season, coined “Bad-chelors” The Tenderloins appear as hidden contestants on a fake dating show hosted by Brooke Shields, who plays herself.

However, the audience and the bachelorette, Ashley, who is interviewing her potential suitors are completely unaware that Sal, Q, and Murr are purposefully trying to give the worst answers possible, because the bachelor, who is chosen by Ashley in the end, will lose the challenge and will have to face the punishment at the end of the episode.

Chaos quickly ensues on the Brooke of Love prank, when Murr decides that he will give answers that make him seem like a serial killer and Sal decides to give the most offensive answers that he can think of in the moment.

How did Ashley react to The Tenderloins’ answers on the show?

Even though Ashley has no idea what is happening behind the scenes, and she is only experiencing these out-of-place and creepy answers as if real contestants are giving them, she still manages to give each weird answer a somewhat sweet response.

Even when the situation quickly devolves during an “advertisement break” on the show in which her winning bachelor asks if he can back out of the deal, she remains calm, and this is part of why she made such a good impression on the viewers that watched the episode.

How did this episode of Impractical Jokers end?

In the end, Sal loses the challenge by becoming the winning bachelor and comes out from behind the screen to meet his date.

Of course, at this point, Murr and Q are cracking up in the wings, because they know that as his punishment, he now has to publicly reject Ashley on the show.

However, possibly the best moment in the episode comes when Brooke stands up to Sal after he rejected Ashley and starts rattling off insults at Sal.

The audience and the other members of The Tenderloins, as well as a relieved Ashley, all crack up as Sal leaves the set.
