Zak has confirmed that Ghost Adventures will be back for another season soon, despite the rumors and speculation that the show might be done for.
Fans of the Ghost Adventures franchise have certainly been dragged along for all kinds of adventures over the course of the last 16 years.
However, it seems that recently, the biggest (and perhaps scariest) of all of the franchise’s mysteries has been whether or not Ghost Adventures – in its original format – will return to television for another season.
Everything we know about the future of Ghost Adventures
If you have been following along with all of the behind-the-scenes drama in the world of Ghost Adventures over the last decade, you will already know that there were considerable fears that the beloved and original version of Ghost Adventures would be coming to an end soon, for reasons ranging from Zak’s rumored unwillingness to fly out to different locations to the fact that the show’s episode count has dwindled to only a few episodes per season.
But fortunately, the show’s longtime host Zak Bragans, has taken to Instagram to dismiss these fears, by confirming that Ghost Adventures will, in fact, be returning for a 29th season very soon.
Zak shared a post promoting the new season of the spin-off series, Ghost Adventures: Screaming Room on February 15, 2024, but this paranormal expert also let it slip that “NEW Seasons of #GhostAdventures and #GAHouseCalls” will be premiering very soon.

All about Ghost Adventures season 28
Keeping track of new Ghost Adventures seasons has become almost as challenging as tracking down the paranormal entities that tend to hang around some of the world’s most haunted locations.
As a result, it is probably a good idea to ensure that you are all caught up on the original Ghost Adventures’, most recent, 28th season, before the new season starts airing.
Season 28 of Ghost Adventures can be summarized as follows:

1. | “Lake of Death” |
2. | “Hotel Barclay” |
3. | “Lockdown in Lancaster” |
4. | “Lake Mead Part 1” |
5. | “Lake Mead Part 2” |
6. | “Fear in Flagstaff” |
7. | “Stow House Haunting” |
8. | “Mentryville Ghost Town” |
9. | “Hotel San Carlos” |
10. | “King Gillette Ranch” |
11. | “Abandoned in Elko” |
12. | “Village of Lost Souls” |
13. | “Terror in Tempe” |
14. | “The Beast of West Hills” |
15. | “Sutro Ghost Town” |
16. | “Ghost Island” |
17. | “Orcutt Ranch” |
18. | “Scotty’s Castle” |
When will Ghost Adventures return for season 29?
Zak has not exactly confirmed when we can expect the new season of Ghost Adventures to premiere, but given the fact that the franchise is currently knee-deep in airing the new season of Ghost Adventures: Screaming Room, it is likely that we will have to wait a couple of months, before we can see the team dive into a few, truly new ghost hunting adventures.
But, if we were to make an educated guess as to when this new season could possibly be hitting the airwaves – it would make sense for this new season to start airing in the fall of 2024, after the new season of Ghost Adventures: Screaming Room has been wrapped up.
What we can expect when Ghost Adventures does return for another season
The details for Ghost Adventures season 29 have certainly been few and far between, so there is not much to go on, as far as the haunted locations that the team might be investigating in the new season.
However, at this stage, it is fairly safe to assume that most of the Ghost Adventures team will return to reprise their roles in this next season (this includes Zak Bagans, Aaron Goodwin, Billy Tolly and Jay Wasley) and that this team will give it all that they have, to investigate the strange, unexplained, and otherworldly instances that plague some of the most haunted places across the United States.
The Ghost Adventures spin-off you can watch in the meantime
While we wait for an update on the new, upcoming season of Ghost Adventures, there is plenty of opportunity to take a look back at some of the show’s greatest hits, with the Ghost Adventures: Screaming Room spin-off series, which is currently airing on Discovery.
In case you missed it, this spin-off series follows Zak and the rest of the team, as they re-visit some of their most haunting, scariest and most iconic paranormal investigations and share a few never-before-heard-or-seen stories and footage, along the way.
And, while watching this “best of” spin-off is not exactly the same thing as diving into a new season, it is a great way to fill the Ghost Adventures void, until season 29 arrives.
New episodes of Ghost Adventures: Screaming Room air Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET or 9 p.m. CT.
