Glenda’s, located at Hyde Square in Hyde Park, offers a mesmerizing escape from the busy environment of most Johannesburg restaurants, as its vibrant décor instantly changes one’s mood. The restaurant comes with its own nursery that shows a variety of herbs and salad leaves that are plucked for the dishes on offer. The indoor area maintains its theme of colourful florals, with murals on the wall that showcase floral bouquets that are often seen in many of its customers’ social media posts.
Glenda’s is also known for its ever-evolving menu, which changes according to the season. The Dotty Choux is also a popular feature at the restaurant, and serves as the takeaway patisserie counter which specialises in choux pastries of all shapes, colours and flavours.
