Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch has been showing off new discoveries for three seasons, but it seems like the show might be fibbing about some of the details.
Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch has now concluded its third season with a rather last-minute discovery.
However, while fans are left to ponder exactly what Duane Ollinger, his son, Chad Ollinger and the rest of their team of experts will end up finding in those oh-so mysterious caves – we have a few other pressing questions.
Is the Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch story unraveling?
Longtime viewers of the show will likely be familiar with most of the mysteries and legends of the Uintah Basin after following the theories that Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch has posited in the last three seasons.
So far, the Ollingers and the various experts that they have brought on-board for this exploration mission have floated theories ranging from connections to the lost Rhoades Mine, to connections to otherworldly beings and government conspiracies.
But while the Ollingers have been concerned about finding whatever treasure it is that is reportedly hiding somewhere beneath the surface of this property, a few keen-eyed fans have spotted a few (rather large holes) in the Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch story.
And, as it turns out, the discoveries that we have seen on the show thus far may actually not be taking place on Blind Frog Ranch after all.
And, in actuality, many of the Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch team’s finds seem to be dotted around other locations in the infamous Uintah Basin.
Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch in a nutshell
Before we dive into some of Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch’s most infamous claims, we will examine just how far the show has come over the course of the last few years.

The problem with the Blind Frog Ranch petroglyphs
If you have been following along with the Ollingers’ Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch discoveries since the very beginning, then you may recall that the team happened upon a few petroglyphs back in the fourth episode of the first season.
This episode made it seem as if these petroglyphs were found on Blind Frog Ranch near where Chad, Charlie and Eric were searching for a cave entrance on the side of the rock face.
However, it does not take much investigation to reveal that these petroglyphs bear an absolutely striking resemblance to those found on McConkie Ranch (another popular Uintah Basin destination).
A more recent mislabeled discovery
Though one Mystery at Blind Frog petroglyph misstep would not necessarily be too much cause for concern, it now seems as if the team has repeated this mistake.
The third season of Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch may have run its course, but that has not stopped the Ollingers from sharing new discoveries via their social media pages. In fact, the Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch team recently reached out to their over 7,000 followers on Instagram to help identify a few petroglyphs.
And while the team did not specifically state that these petroglyphs were found on Blind Frog Ranch, they did omit that these particular petroglyphs are actually located elsewhere in the Uintah Basin (as was so helpfully pointed out by one of the Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch Debunked members on Facebook.)
In reality, the petroglyphs in this picture can actually be found about 200 miles away from Blind Frog Ranch in the ever-popular Slot Canyon, as pictured on the UtahHikingBeauty.com website.
A few other lingering questions
While we will continue searching for answers about the true origins of these mysterious petroglyphs, Duane and Chad left more than a few other questions unanswered at the end of Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch season three.
For a start, the Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch team has yet to return to that very exciting gold bar, which it found earlier on in the season.
We have also not heard a single mention of the box (which is still trapped at the bottom of the pond) in quite a while.
And to wrap it all up, the team has still not gotten to the bottom of what was causing that poisonous gas to fill the cave system last season.
At this point, we can only hope that Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch will return for another season and that the show will start addressing some of these pertinent questions sooner rather than later.
