Crumbs & Cream is a popular dessert bar in Illovo which specialises in ice-cream sandwiches made from delectable cookies and complementary ice-cream flavours.
Crumbs & Cream is well known in the Illovo, Houghton and Morningside areas as one of the only dessert bars that open until 22:00 every day. Along with the variety of flavours on offer, the quaint location, based on the Illovo street side, is an immediate attraction because of its bright colours and statement furniture. The small space has both indoor and outdoor seating options, with one of the benches doubling as a swing.
Crumbs & Cream specialises in ice-cream sandwiches made from two freshly baked cookies that are placed on either side of an ice-cream flavour of the customer’s choice. Staff members at the dessert bar shared that they are expecting Christmas flavours such as cinnamon and nutmeg cookies in the coming weeks. Moreover, there will be complementary ice-cream flavours as well.
