Former Expedition Bigfoot star, Ronny LeBlanc revealed a shocking discovery, which if true would be groundbreaking for the Bigfoot community.
Fresh from confirming his departure from the Discovery show, Expedition Bigfoot, Ronny LeBlanc took to social media to announce what could possibly be one of the biggest sightings of the legendary but elusive creature known as Bigfoot.
Writing on his Facebook profile Wednesday, August 21, 2024, LeBlanc said:
“So, a bunch of fellow researchers just filmed several Sasquatch (over two nights) and they were surrounded by at least 3 to 5…you will all have to wait a few months to learn who, and see what they captured…on film…going to shake up the Bigfoot world and I couldn’t be prouder…you have been warned.”
If LeBlanc’s claims are indeed true, they would be earthshattering, not only for the Bigfoot world as he says, but also the world in general, with far-reaching consequences.
The discovery of Bigfoot is perhaps only second to finding life on Mars, and maybe the Loch Ness Monster.
But it is very difficult not to take LeBlanc’s claims with a pinch of salt. There are many such big claims in the Bigfoot community, almost daily.
Many of them usually turn out to be incidental sightings riddled with confirmation biases, and often grainy footage which could be anything. And in some cases, they are outright hoaxes and fabrications.
This, coupled with the fact he supposedly captured everything “on film” and that we will need to “wait a few months to learn who and see what they captured”, suggests an elaborate ploy to perhaps punt another Discovery-esque show in the same fashion of Expedition Bigfoot, and countless other Bigfoot pursuit shows over the years.
It is also curious he had these hashtags in his Facebook post: #ExpeditionBigfoot, #FindingBigfoot, #Sasquatch, #GameChanger, #bigfoot, and #bigfootisreal. And conspicuously leading the aforementioned hashtags with his former show: Expedition Bigfoot.
Is this priming us for his return to the show? And oh, the post was also perfectly timed to coincide with the Wednesday night airing of Expedition Bigfoot.
It is very challenging not to be skeptical in such a situation.

In any event, we will have to wait the few months LeBlanc says. And when the time comes, we will evaluate the evidence he ultimately presents and will make our own findings.
If it turns out to be yet another elaborate made-for-TV hoax, it will be hugely disappointing for the Bigfoot community. And in this case, the community would be deserving of the ridicule the likes of which you found in the 2006 movie, The Sasquatch Gang.
In the film Dr. Artemis Snodgrass (played by Carl Weathers) is hellbent on proving that the Sasquatch or Bigfoot is real.
In his desperation to be right, he ends up validating every falsehood of Zerk’s (Justin Long) and Shirts’ (Joey Kern) shortsighted hoax, as evidence of Bigfoot’s existence.
More than hype, the Bigfoot community needs evidence, more than grainy footage, the community needs conclusive proof that will finally put the Bigfoot question to rest.
Here is to hoping that Ronny LeBlanc’s claims that #bigfootisreal, are true, the credibility of the Bigfoot community needs it.
