Chartwell Castle and Guest House is a hidden gem in Fourways, as the venue resembles a literal castle surrounded by high trees that guard the premises.
Chartwell Castle and Guest House is one of Fourways’ best-kept secrets, as it is tucked away in the inner streets of Chartwell. Upon approaching the guest house, guests travel through a corrugated road which leads to a long entrance to the castle. Whilst driving through, you are able to see the magnificent maze that has been built with large trees that lead the pathway, giving guests a fun activity to partake in when staying over.
The gardens are filled with bushes and flowers and showcase land that is perfectly coupled with a castle setting. The building itself has a common room lounge and dining room, with a kitchen that can also be shared amongst guests. The rooms are also fit for royalty, taking on thematic names such as Clarence, Lancaster and York, Gloucester, Buckingham and Somerset.
The Chartwell Castle also comes with a grand ballroom that is known to host lavish, yet intimate, weddings and events. With access to the garden and catering from the guest house, the venue is known as one of the most popular Fourways-based wedding venues of the summer.
