Altitude Beach has made a concerted effort to restore a sense of normalcy for Johannesburg residents, with its summer line-up of performers expected to set the tone for the holidays.
Altitude Beach has been one of the most popular spots in Johannesburg since its reopening in September 2020. With many people reluctant to travel down to the coast during the festive season, the outdoor venue, which is meant to resemble a tropical paradise, is the perfect place for friends to meet. The line-up also boasts some of South Africa’s most popular artists, such as Black Coffee, who will be taking up a summer residency at Altitude Beach.
The internationally renowned DJ will be performing on Saturday, 28 November 2020, Friday, 1 January 2021, and Saturday, 6 February 2021. Other events scheduled to take place at Altitude Beach include the Spring Fiesta on Saturday, 14 November 2020, and Drago Lo’s Birthday Celebration on Saturday, 21 November 2020.
With Altitude Beach being an outdoor venue, patrons are able to successfully practice social distancing whilst enjoying themselves at their tables. Entrance will also be limited to comply with Alert Level 1 regulations.
