The beloved Morning Show hosts on 107.5 The River, Woody Wood and Jim Chandler, left the show quite abruptly after more than two decades on the air.
So far, however, no official explanation has been provided as to why they left or were asked to leave the show.
107.5 The River: Why did Woody and Jim get fired?
Residents of the Nashville area have been listening to the voices of Woody Wood and Jim Chandler for well over two decades at this point, but the two beloved hosts have recently (and quite suddenly) left the Morning Show.
While it is quite normal for radio hosts to come and go with time, Woody and Jim has been on the air at 107.5 The River since 1998.
As a result, it has become synonymous with the station over the years, which is what makes it strange that they would leave so suddenly without any announcement, explanation, or even a proper send-off.
107.5 The River did confirm in a tweet that Woody and Jim were no longer part of the WRVW Morning Show as of May 19, 2023.
But the station did not comment on why the hosts left (or were dismissed) so soon after their contract had been renewed for three more years in 2022. This has led to speculation that there may have been more going on behind the scenes.

107.5 The River (and Woody and Jim, for that matter) have not commented on why this beloved duo has been removed from the air. But the station did confirm that the Morning Show will continue on.
Woody and Jim’s co-hosts, Ricki and Zac, will continue to host the show without them and 107.5 The River will reportedly also be adding new hosts to the show very soon.
